My story
Small changes. A different way of living.
For a long time, my health affected so much of my life. From undiagnosed coeliac disease and infertility to becoming a mum to premature twin boys and having a hysterectomy at 36, there have been many seasons of learning how to care for myself.
I know what it feels like to want to feel better and not know where to start. I also know how easily our own needs slip to the bottom of the list when we are busy caring for everyone else.
Small, everyday changes have helped me rebuild my health, confidence and trust in myself. Those experiences are at the heart of why I share what I learn, to help other women find a starting point that feels possible.
For me, those changes have included learning what nourishes me, moving my body, choosing an alcohol free life and creating boundaries. I have also learnt to make room for rest and recognise that caring for myself helps me be more present for the people I love.
Over time, I felt able to take on experiences I once would have struggled to imagine, including reaching Everest Base Camp. That journey began long before the mountain, through everyday choices that helped me believe in myself again.

Across fourteen years with Arbonne, I have built a business, navigated changing priorities and continued using products that fit into my everyday life. That experience has taught me to listen first, understand what someone needs and keep the next step practical.
That is why I created Start With Ali. I want to help women, particularly those over 40, recognise what is keeping them stuck and find a manageable place to begin. I bring lived experience, curiosity and a passion for helping people turn awareness into action.
For one person, that might mean eating more consistently. For another, it might mean prioritising sleep, setting a boundary or making space for themselves again. You do not have to change everything at once. You can start with one small choice that supports the life you want to live.
